Whiteaker Block Party is a free, volunteer driven event
with a gargantuan amount to see and do. The community,
families, anarchists and participants have one day on
Saturday, August 4th 2012 to stir up some hullabaloo.
The time is from noon until 10pm. A complete map and
event schedule can be found on their website. This is the
6th year for this event.
Under The Root and Marie Valle of SparkleGlitterGlow
have pulled together a popup trunk show on the corner of
4th Avenue and Jackson. We have opened up the archives
to offer accessories galore, upcycled costume and clothing,
hand structured samples of loungerie, a bit of nibble and
nosh, plus a live cellist.

dress up with us. We'd love to see you.
