Emotional Experiments in Sound
n5MD began as a minidisc label,
the label name meaning - no fives, minidiscs.
When Sony DADC Austria stopped manufacturing
pre recorded minidiscs, and when getting them manufactured
by Sony DADC Japan was too expensive to consider,
n5MD changed over to compact discs,
continuing to release a few 7 inch records.
Much of the back catalog is available for purchase
in MP3 format from the label website.

photographic thursday :: it's a satanic drug thing

Ellen Jane Rogers
"I am a London based photographer.
All my work is analogue and does not utilise any
digital equipment or computer based manipulation
(other than scanning the end result).
My techniques mostly come from experimentation
with traditional darkroom processes."
Astounding!

whimsical handmade wednesday :: colette patterns

"Colette Patterns’ mission is to help you create clothing that feels both beautiful and personal. While it’s all too easy to find cheap, cute, disposable clothing meant to be worn for weeks or months and then discarded, making your own clothing is an entirely different experience. It’s something cherished, something chosen, something entirely you."

"These patterns are designed to be made into clothes that you will love forever. They are timeless, beautiful designs that can be made in a variety of fabrics to suit the season. They are wearable, practical, and pretty."
Colette Patterns come with full instructions, and are available in sizes 0 to 18.

A lover of vintage styles and beautiful detail, Sarai Mitnick has been sewing clothing for 12 years. Finding a dearth of modern sewing patterns for design-oriented sewers, Sarai developed Colette Patterns to help others create their own signature clothing. Her background in the User Experience world gave her a passion for creating patterns that are themselves beautiful and easy to use. Visit her personal blog, Sweet Sassafras, for more.

travelling down the greenway

The Storque :: Travelling Down the Greenway
"Since the day I moved into my very first home, I have been
dedicated to living an eco-friendly lifestyle. I began with small
steps toward living green like switching to energy saving
light bulbs, making my own natural cleaning products, supporting
local businesses and buying organic locally grown produce.
Once I realized how easy it was to adapt to these changes,
I became interested in doing a lot more."
